We are glad to inform that we finished to cover the silage bunker test in Uilenkraal Farm Darling Western Cape South Africa with Sealplus oxygen barrier under layer film 45µm. The Uilenkraal Farm is one of the most advanced of South Africa and we are very honoured to start a technical cooperation with them.

  • Nr 1.450 cows in milk + 170 dry cows
  • Nr 1.566 heads from 0 to 24 months
  • Nr 3.830 animal in total
  • Average yeald production is 40.5 lit per cow/day 3,15% fat 3,2% protein SCC 265.000
  • land is 950 ha
  • oats silage about 13-18 ton per ha = 14 250 ton (30% dry mat.)
  • maize silage. on about 50 ha with irrigation and 70 ton per ha = 3500 ton of maize silage at 30% dry mat.
